The race for the White House is officially on. America is bracing for another ‘unprecedented’ election as the 2024 race heads for another Biden vs. Trump battle. Latest polling gives President Biden a widening-lead over Fmr. President Trump.

A Quinnipiac University poll of national voters was released Wednesday (Jan. 31) and gives Joe Biden a 50-44 percent lead over Donald Trump in a hypothetical general election. 96% of democrats and 52% of independents support Biden. 91% of republicans and 40% of independents support Trump. 58% of women support Biden, a jump from December polling (of the same hypothetical election). 53% of men support Trump. About the same from previous polling (of the same hypothetical election).

But, what about Haley?

Fmr. Ambassador and South Carolina Governor, Nikki Haley has had an embattled campaign of recent. Despite the gaffes and general concern for trustworthiness, Haley has a slight lead over President Biden in a hypothetical race for the White House.

Quinnipiac polling reveals 47% of registered voters support Haley. 42% support Biden. 87% of democrats still supported Biden, but 10% supported Haley. 79% of republicans and 53% of independents also supported Haley.

Her issue is within her own party, though. Haley is trailing Donald Trump (among overall republican voters) 77%-21%.

A Long Way Home

We are still months away from the 2024 Presidential election. After what this country (and the world) has endured in recent years, it feels like anything is possible. All eyes are near-sighted on Nikki Haley’s ability to stay upright. It’s certainly been a rough fight in the early rounds (for her).

The landscape of the election changes drastically if she’s able to pull off a Creed-like finish.
